Molly McVey is a photographer, equestrian, and museum nerd. She attended Pittsburg State University, completing her BFA in 2-D Studio Art with a minor in Photography. She later would attain her MA in Museum Science and Management from the University of Tulsa. Molly has worked and volunteered in museums and galleries throughout Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma, having opportunities at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, Gilcrease Museum, 108 Contemporary, the Mulvane Art Museum, the Nerman Museum, and Belger Arts Center. She now resides in Merriam, Kansas, where she serves as the Associate Registrar, Database Administration at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses, buying plants, and capturing the world around her through photography.
