Museum Photography
Mulvane Art Museum
In June of 2019 I started an internship at the Mulvane Art Museum in Topeka, KS. I processed, cataloged, and photographed artwork from the Rita Blitt Collection and created inventory lists, location records, and updated object information in PastPerfect. I also photographed their gallery spaces when new exhibitions were installed.
Below are some images that I took while working at the Mulvane Art Museum.

In the Spring of 2019 I assisted with the IMLS grant Convergence of Native Cultures in North East Oklahoma: Connecting Ancient to Modern. I gained valuable experience in imaging with a medium format camera, image processing, cataloging in TMS, and the handling, preparation, and lighting of museum objects. It was an amazing experience and solidified that I want to continue working in museums photographing the history behind its doors.
Below are some behind the scenes photos of the work I created while on the project.
